Role Overview

Bertelsmann is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to design, deploy, and scale AI-driven solutions that support enterprise decision-making and operational efficiency. This role bridges advanced machine learning capabilities with real-world business use cases, working closely with data science, engineering, and business stakeholders.

You will serve as a technical leader responsible for translating AI capabilities into production-ready systems that deliver measurable impact across forecasting, optimization, and intelligent automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement AI-powered solutions from concept through production

Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical architectures

Collaborate with data scientists to productionize ML models and pipelines

Build scalable, maintainable AI services and APIs

Ensure AI solutions meet reliability, performance, and governance standards

Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and best-practice guidance

Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption strategies

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or applied ML roles

Strong experience deploying machine learning models into production systems

Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks

Experience with cloud platforms and data infrastructure

Strong system design and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting enterprise-scale AI initiatives

Background in forecasting, NLP, or intelligent automation

Strong stakeholder communication skills
