Overview

Abridge is offering a PhD Research Internship focused on measurement and evaluation within applied AI and healthcare technology. This role supports rigorous research into system performance, outcomes, and evaluation methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute evaluation frameworks for AI systems

Conduct quantitative and qualitative research analyses

Develop metrics to assess system performance and impact

Collaborate with research scientists and engineers

Document findings and contribute to internal research outputs

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a PhD program (preferred fields: statistics, ML, HCI, or related)

Strong background in research methodology and evaluation

Experience with data analysis and experimental design

Ability to communicate research insights clearly
