Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Medical Biller role based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Medical Biller will be responsible for managing medical billing processes, including accurately preparing and submitting claims, handling insurance reimbursements, and following up on claim denials. The role requires a strong working knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems, and insurance policies. The Medical Biller will also collaborate closely with healthcare providers and insurance agencies to ensure the timely resolution of billing issues.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Terminology and understanding of ICD-10 coding system
• Experience in handling Insurance claims and familiarity with Medicare regulations
• Expertise in managing claim Denials and implementing solutions for resolutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate coding and billing
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients
• Prior experience in a medical billing or healthcare administration role is an advantage
• 3yrs-5yrs experience in Billing
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines
