Job Overview

Waymo is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to join its AI Foundations team. This role focuses on developing foundational machine learning models and systems that support autonomous driving technology at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and improve machine learning models for autonomous systems

Work on foundational AI infrastructure and algorithms

Collaborate with research scientists and engineers

Analyze large-scale datasets to improve model performance

Contribute to experimentation, evaluation, and deployment pipelines

Qualifications & Experience

Experience building machine learning models in production environments

Strong foundation in machine learning and data-driven systems

Salary

GBP 93,000 – GBP 100,000 (depending on experience)
