The Lecturer in Education Management and Policy Studies will provide expertise in leadership, administration, and education policy development. The role involves teaching, research, and policy engagement in shaping education governance in Kenya and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Teach courses in education management, leadership, administration, and policy studies

Supervise student research and dissertations in education management and policy

Publish research in peer-reviewed education and policy journals

Participate in curriculum development for education leadership programs

Provide mentorship for students pursuing careers in educational leadership

Engage in consultancy and policy advocacy in collaboration with education stakeholders

Requirements

PhD in Education Management, Policy Studies, or Educational Administration

Master’s degree in the same specialization (mandatory if PhD in progress)

At least 3 years of teaching experience at university level

Publications in education policy and management journals

Knowledge of educational leadership, governance, and policy frameworks in Kenya

Strong research, mentorship, and leadership skills
