Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Laser Welder located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Laser Welder will be responsible for performing precision welding using advanced laser technologies. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring high-quality welding on various materials, maintaining and operating welding machinery, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Collaboration with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines will also be an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding
• Comprehensive knowledge of materials and their properties relevant to welding
• Experience in operating laser welding equipment and related tools
• Attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality welds
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical blueprints and drawings
• Strong understanding of workplace safety and proper handling of equipment
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Relevant certification or training in welding technology is a plus
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred

Salary scale: 30k to 40k depending on experience
