One Acre Fund is seeking a passionate Digital Communications Intern to join its Communications team in Nairobi. This is a paid full-time internship starting in October, offering hands-on experience in digital storytelling, content creation, and strategic communications within a leading social impact organization.

The successful candidate will support the Editorial & Digital Marketing Senior Specialist and collaborate with Communications team members to manage projects, develop content, and coordinate storytelling initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination: Support project timelines, mobilize resources, and maintain content calendars and production schedules.

Content Creation: Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh concepts for employer branding, youth, and women-focused marketing campaigns.

Copywriting Support: Draft engaging copy for social media, newsletters, and branding content.

Production Logistics: Coordinate interviews and video shoots, manage participant scheduling, prepare scripts, and provide on-the-ground production support.

Editorial Assistance: Compile monthly content digests, and support the development of written materials and editorial outputs.

Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media Studies, Public Relations, or a related field.

Strong passion for storytelling, digital content creation, and social impact.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with prior writing and copywriting experience.

Motivated, detail-oriented, open to feedback, and proactive.

Experience in managing social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok).
