Job Summary
The Administration Manager will provide strategic administrative and operational leadership to the Department of Population Health at Aga Khan University. The role supports departmental planning, financial management, donor-funded research administration, compliance, and stakeholder coordination to ensure efficient and effective departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative leadership and direct support to the Chair of Department.
Coordinate departmental planning, work plans, and reporting cycles.
Oversee daily administrative operations, workflows, and staff supervision.
Coordinate budgeting, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting.
Liaise with HR, Finance, Procurement, and other central units.
Support donor-funded projects, ensuring compliance with grant agreements and reporting requirements.
Manage records, documentation, audits, and compliance processes.
Coordinate internal and external communications and official correspondence.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Experience & Skills
5–8 years of progressively responsible administrative or operations management experience.
Prior experience in academic, research, or healthcare environments is highly desirable.
Experience supporting donor-funded projects and audits is an advantage.
Strong planning, financial management, and communication skills.
