Job Description
At Hiperdist, we engineer customer success at speed. We’re looking for a Cisco Pre-Sales Engineer.

Cisco Pre-Sales is a customer-facing technical specialist responsible for positioning, designing and demonstrating Cisco solutions across our partner and customer ecosystem. This role translates business requirements into secure, scalable and future-ready solutions that drive customer outcomes and revenue growth.

You will work closely with Account Managers, Customer Success and Renewals to shape opportunities, influence technical decisions and help partners and customers choose Cisco with confidence.

We’re looking for a Cisco Pre-Sales Engineer who can:

  • Influence decisions at partner & customer level

Detailed Job Description
Cisco Solution Leadership

  • Own the technical sales motion for Cisco across assigned partners and accounts.
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand customer business drivers, challenges and technical environments.
  • Design and present Cisco architectures across networking, security, collaboration, data centre, cloud and services.
  • Deliver high-impact Cisco solution presentations, demos and workshops to customers and partners.

Proof of Concept & Technical Validation

  • Build and run Cisco Proof-of-Value (PoVs), pilots and demos to validate solution fit.
  • Support customers and partners in testing performance, security, integration and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and optimise Cisco solutions during pre-sales and evaluation phases.

Deal & Sales Enablement

  • Support Account Managers in developing winning Cisco technical strategies for new business, expansions and renewals.
  • Produce technical designs, BoMs, solution descriptions and architecture diagrams for proposals and tenders.
  • Assist in creating formal sales plans and opportunity strategies for key accounts.

Partner Enablement

  • Act as a trusted Cisco technical advisor to partners, helping them position and sell Cisco solutions more effectively.
  • Support partner pre-sales teams with solution design, architecture validation and technical confidence.
  • Help partners accelerate deals by removing technical blockers.

Competitive & Market Awareness

  • Maintain strong knowledge of Cisco’s competitive positioning against other vendors.
  • Understand where competitors sit in the market and how Cisco differentiates on security, performance, manageability and total cost of ownership.
  • Use this insight to strengthen Cisco’s value proposition in customer conversations.
