Overview

Hover is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build scalable, high-performance systems that power its next-generation technology platform. This role focuses on designing and delivering production-grade software used by customers at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend and/or frontend systems

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

Collaborate with product managers and designers on feature development

Participate in system architecture and technical decision-making

Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of core services

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience

Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks

Experience building scalable, distributed systems

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices

Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

Compensation

Base Salary Range: USD 165,000 – 239,000
