Role Overview

Airbnb is seeking an Advanced Analytics Intern to join the Homes Business Analytics team within the Finance organization. This Summer Internship is part of Airbnb’s 2026 Summer Intern Program.

The team enables data-driven decision-making across the company, driving operational excellence and enhancing the guest and host experience through analytics, experiments, and research.

This internship provides the opportunity to work on real-world projects and contribute to actionable insights that influence product and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Build high-quality data analyses to understand guest and host interactions, identifying areas for improvement and opportunity

Partner with Product Marketing, Engineering, and Design to guide guest roadmap through data storytelling

Apply data methodologies to measure and track product performance, defining and monitoring key success metrics

Own and complete a capstone project from start to finish

Collaborate with multiple team members to achieve project milestones

Communicate project updates to stakeholders across teams

Actively participate in team and Airbnb-wide events, providing feedback and insights

Required Qualifications

Current full-time student completing a Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Mathematics, Analytics, Statistics, Econometrics, etc.)

At least one semester remaining after the internship

Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R)

Strong analytical, statistical, and data visualization skills

Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences

Work authorization for employment in the US (CPT/OPT with 2-year STEM extension accepted)

Preferred (not required):

Familiarity with product analytics and/or A/B testing

Interest in high-growth tech or hospitality companies
