Job Summary

The ICU Nurse will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients, ensuring close monitoring, timely interventions, and adherence to intensive care protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit.

Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and operate ICU equipment.

Collaborate with doctors and multidisciplinary teams in patient management.

Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.

Ensure infection prevention and control standards are consistently followed.

Provide emotional support to patients and their families.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.

Valid registration and practicing license with the Nursing Council of Kenya.

At least one (1) year of hospital nursing experience; ICU experience is an added advantage.
