IPOA seeks a Principal Legal Officer to provide expert legal guidance and represent the Authority in civil and criminal court proceedings. You will coordinate legal teams, advise on statutory compliance, and lead legal audits.

Experience: 9 years (3 years as Senior Legal Officer or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and representation in complex court matters.

Coordinate internal legal teams and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Conduct legal audits and review investigation files for legal sufficiency.

Liaise with stakeholders and participate in outreach programs.

Develop and monitor annual work plans and budgets for the legal division.

Qualifications & Skills

Registered Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

Member of the Law Society of Kenya with a valid practicing license.

Management training and strong analytical and communication skills.
