Job Summary
The Assistant Public Health Officer III will be responsible for implementing environmental and public health programs. Duties will include inspecting food premises, monitoring sanitation, conducting health education, and supporting disease surveillance and outbreak response.

This role plays a vital part in maintaining community hygiene standards and promoting healthier living conditions across the county.

Requirements

Diploma in Public Health or Environmental Health from a recognized institution

Registration with the Public Health Officers and Technicians Council of Kenya

Knowledge of sanitation laws, food hygiene, and disease prevention methods

Strong communication and community mobilization skills

Ability to work in both urban and rural community settings
