Job Summary
The Nutrition & Dietician Officer will be responsible for providing dietary guidance, conducting nutritional assessments, and developing intervention programs to improve the health outcomes of individuals and communities. This role will also involve educating patients and the public on proper nutrition, monitoring feeding programs, and ensuring adherence to national nutrition guidelines.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in preventing and managing diet-related conditions while promoting overall wellness across the county’s healthcare facilities and outreach programs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from a recognized institution

Registration with the Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians Institute (KNDI) and a valid practicing license

Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, community nutrition, and therapeutic diets

At least 1–2 years’ experience in a hospital or community nutrition setting

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient and community education
