The Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA), a State Corporation mandated to regulate, coordinate, and oversee maritime affairs, is seeking a qualified professional to fill the role of Assistant Director, Human Resource and Administration.

Key Responsibilities

Lead HR and administration functions to support the Authority’s operations.

Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance management.

Develop and enforce HR policies and practices in line with labor laws.

Ensure efficient administrative support across departments.

Advise management on HR best practices and employee relations.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Master’s degree and professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP) is an added advantage.

At least 7 years of HR experience, 3 of which should be at senior management level.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
