The Lecturer in Information Technology (IT) will deliver cutting-edge training in software development, networks, data management, and emerging technologies. The role will also involve supervision of student research, curriculum development, and active participation in technology-based research projects to keep the University aligned with digital transformation trends.

Key Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in IT (programming, networking, databases, cybersecurity, AI, etc.)

Supervise research projects, coding labs, and applied IT innovations

Conduct research and publish in reputable IT/Computer Science journals

Guide students in practical and industry-relevant projects, including hackathons and internships

Contribute to the development of IT curricula aligned with global trends

Collaborate with industry partners to strengthen applied IT training and consultancy

Requirements

PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline from a recognized university

Master’s in IT or Computer Science (mandatory if PhD is in progress)

At least 3 years of teaching or professional industry experience in IT

Evidence of publications in IT or computer science journals

Strong programming, problem-solving, and research supervision skills

Knowledge of current IT trends such as AI, cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity
